Marisa antolino

Assistant // Ame Wren & Boston Yoga School

Growing up and prior to discovering asana Marisa was always a bit of a yogi at heart. Long before studying yogic philosophy she believed in the interconnectedness of all life and felt empowered to spread that knowledge. Her yoga practice was born from a desire to explore the art of connection while building a community and enabling consistency in her physical life. She found yoga in her early 20’s and over the years since then she has become a devoted student of Hatha/Vinyasa, Iyengar, and Ashtanga yoga.

As a teacher Marisa strives to spread the love and compassion that yoga fosters within her. Her classes are a creative space for students to come and study the “self,” both internally and externally. A longtime student of Ame Wren, Marisa sprinkles strategic simplicity, complex movement, intelligent sequencing, precise anatomical alignment, and the fusion of mind and body through breath into every practice that she leads.

Marisa is an RYT-500, completing her 200-hour and 300-hour teacher trainings with Boston Yoga School under the tuteledge of Kevin Courtney, Brenna Matthews, Alison Sinatra, Josh Summers, Zach Dacuk, and many others. She remains forever grateful to her guides for continuing to hold the lantern on her yogic path.
