Danielle Doyle

Assistant // Boston, 300-Hour Training

It took a lot of resistance, a little struggle and almost a decade of on and off practice before Danielle started to truly love yoga.  But through years of practice and surrender, she began to turn off the mental chatter and soften into the resistance; to discover how this practice of breath and movement can have the capacity to truly transform lives.  Danielle loves yoga for the freedom it has given her - to be kinder to herself and to others and to start to let more experiences and people into her life.
Danielle teaches classes that are challenging but accessible to all bodies and all people no matter where they are on their yoga journey.  Her classes integrate intentional sequencing and creative transitions to take students out of their heads and into their bodies.  She teaches with clear, concise cues and supports students with hands on assists that encourage safety, proper alignment and more depth in a given pose.  Danielle also teaches children’s yoga classes, where she introduces the postures and breath of yoga, while encouraging children to explore the sense of playfulness and wonder that they innately possess.
Danielle completed her 200 hour teacher training with Irum Naqvi and Jo Ann Jones in the fall on 2012 at the Center for Natural Living at Rancho Margot in the cloud forests of Costa Rica.  In the summer of 2015, she completed her 300 hour Teacher Training at the Boston Yoga School with Ame Wren and Kevin Courtney, where she was able to further hone her skills as a teacher but, more important, as a student of yoga through the study of asana, pranayama and yoga history and philosophy.  Danielle is currently studying to be a massage therapist at The Massage School in Boston and looks forward to sharing this healing modality with her students.
